Miami, Fla., June 16, 2022 – Nonprofit BMe Group introduced awards to 23 outstanding Black leaders whom they name BMe Vanguards. Eleven of the 23 nationwide awardees are from Detroit. The award is given to Black individuals whose service and management have earned them the respect and belief of their communities. Every awardee is admitted into a complicated management program and receives a $10,000 grant to additional the work they’re doing of their communities.
