The La Jolla Music Society set a file for single-day ticket gross sales final week when tickets for its 2022-23 winter season went on sale.
The music society, which owns and operates The Conrad Prebys Performing Arts Middle, recorded $70,377 in ticket income on Aug. 8 when single tickets went on sale for the season. The earlier file was $47,083 in September 2021.
The file got here halfway by the society’s annual SummerFest, a well-liked four-week chamber music pageant that includes over 80 artists.
